(i) The JALLIANWALA BAGH MEMORIAL, built to commemorate those killed in the massacre and inaugurated in 1961.

(ii) The incident took place at JALLIANWALA BAGH in AMRITSAR, Punjab, on 13 April 1919 — Baisakhi day. A large unarmed crowd had gathered in an enclosed garden with a single narrow entrance when General Dyer blocked the exit and ordered his troops to fire without warning.

(iii) The NON-COOPERATION MOVEMENT, launched by Gandhiji in 1920.
