(1) UNICEF — the UNITED NATIONS INTERNATIONAL CHILDREN’S EMERGENCY FUND (now officially the United Nations Children’s Fund, though the original abbreviation is retained). (2) UNESCO — the UNITED NATIONS EDUCATIONAL, SCIENTIFIC AND CULTURAL ORGANISATION.
Explanation
One mark each, and the marks are for writing the names out in FULL. The words candidates most often drop are "International" and "Emergency" from UNICEF, and "Scientific" from UNESCO. Write every word. Both were set up in 1946; UNESCO is at Paris, and UNICEF won the Nobel Peace Prize in 1965.
