The Triple Entente of 1907 was formed by three powers: France, Russia and England (Britain). Japan was not one of them — although she later fought on the Allied side, she was never a signatory of the Entente. Remember the two rival groupings that divided Europe before 1914: the Triple Alliance (Germany, Austria-Hungary and Italy, 1882) and the Triple Entente (France, Russia and England, 1907). Italy later changed sides, which is a favourite follow-up question.
