A High Court judge must be an Indian citizen who has EITHER held a judicial office in India for at least ten years, OR been an advocate of a High Court for at least ten years. He must also be under the retirement age of 62. Test each: Q (61, advocate 10 years) qualifies on both counts. S (56, judicial office 10 years) qualifies. R fails twice — only 5 years as an advocate, and aged 67. P fails on age, and note that the "distinguished jurist" clause belongs to the SUPREME Court, not the High Court. So Q and S.
