(1) To bring together all the radical and anti-imperialist elements within the Congress and outside it, and to carry on an uncompromising struggle for the COMPLETE INDEPENDENCE of India. (2) To rebuild India on SOCIALIST lines — a state based on equality and social justice, with the abolition of the zamindari system and the welfare of peasants and workers.

One mark each. Cover both dimensions — the political aim (complete independence by radical struggle) and the social aim (a socialist order). Two versions of "freedom" earn one mark, not two. Founding facts: Subhas Chandra Bose formed the Forward Bloc in May 1939, after resigning as Congress President following his differences with Gandhiji.
