The point worth learning here is the TENSE. In a clause of future time introduced by when, after, before, until or as soon as, English uses the PRESENT tense even though the meaning is future: "when you COME back" — correct "when you WILL come back" — wrong The main clause keeps "will": we WILL discuss. So the sentence has a future main clause and a present subordinate clause, which looks odd and is entirely standard.
This rule is examined regularly and is one of the commonest errors in written English.
