This is the REVERSE of the usual conversion — INDIRECT into DIRECT — and everything that normally backshifts must now be moved FORWARD: the infinitive "to bring" becomes an IMPERATIVE: "bring" "the next day" becomes "TOMORROW" quotation marks and a capital letter appear
Because the reporting verb is REQUESTED rather than "told" or "ordered", the direct speech should be POLITE — hence "Please". A request rendered as a bare command loses the register of the original.
The time expressions reverse in the same way in every such question:
that day → today; the next day → tomorrow; the previous day → yesterday; then → now; there → here.
