HOMOZYGOUS (pure).
Explanation
HOMO- means same. A homozygous individual carries two IDENTICAL alleles — TT or tt — and is said to be PURE for that character.
HETEROZYGOUS (HETERO- means different) carries two unlike alleles — Tt — and is called a HYBRID.
THE POINT THAT MATTERS: a TT plant and a Tt plant LOOK IDENTICAL, because T is dominant. Same PHENOTYPE, different GENOTYPE — which is exactly why a recessive character can vanish in F1 and reappear in F2.
