The INTERSTITIAL CELLS, also called LEYDIG CELLS.

Explanation

The Leydig cells lie BETWEEN the seminiferous tubules — which is why they are also called INTERSTITIAL cells (inter- meaning between). The name tells you where they are.

TESTOSTERONE controls the development of the male SECONDARY SEXUAL CHARACTERISTICS — facial and body hair, deepening of the voice as the larynx enlarges, broad shoulders and muscular development — and it also supports the formation of sperms.

This is what links the reproductive chapter to the endocrine one, and a question may approach it from either direction.
