The trap is the missing braces. Without them, a for loop takes only the NEXT SINGLE STATEMENT as its body — here that is the whole if...continue. The println is therefore OUTSIDE the loop and runs only once, after the loop has finished. Trace the loop: k = 5 (5 % 6 is 5, no continue needed), k = 12 (12 % 6 == 0, so continue), k = 19, then k = 26 which fails the test k <= 20 and ends the loop. That is 3 executions. Since k has become 26 by the time the loop exits, the single println prints 26. Always check whether a loop or an if actually has braces before deciding what belongs to it.
