Explanation
(i) endsWith() asks whether a string finishes with the given text — a yes-or-no question, so boolean. The same holds for startsWith() and equals(). (ii) Math.log() returns the natural logarithm as a double. In fact every method of the Math class returns a double EXCEPT round() (which returns long or int) and the versions of abs(), max() and min() that are given int arguments. Grouping the methods by what they answer is far more reliable than memorising them one by one.
